  • AHCX Conducts marketing refresher training

On March 4 2014 AHL Commodities Exchange conducted a refresher training for its warehouse managers and marketing team in preparation for the 2014 trade and commodity mobilization drive.

The entire marketing team and warehouse managers gathered at Golden Peacock in Lilongwe for a day long training facilitated by the Head of Operations, Davis Manyenje; Daniel Chilima, the Trade and Investments Manager and Anita Mulemba, the Compliance Manager.

The day started with an opening speech by the Administration Executive, Mr. Isaac Kambilinya. In the remarks, Kambilinya told the gathering that the management will always support AHCX’s plans as long as there are returns from the investments committed by the mother company, Auction Holdings Limited.

In his presentation, Manyenje noted that just weeks away before farmers start harvesting their crops, the company saw it necessary to get its warehouse managers and marketing team ready to mobilize commodity across the country.

This refresher talk gave the newer and older members of staff a different point of view on commodity mobilization, management, leadership and how to succeed in their respective duties.

This year’s pre-season commodity mobilization training has set the stage for many years of continued sensitization and awareness across the country. It is also part of a long professional development program being undertaken by the company.

This is an assurance that AHL Commodities Exchange has stepped up its efforts to offer the best services to its customers and stakeholders.
