    AHL Commodities Exchange (AHCX) has introduced a radio programme which will run on Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) every Friday from 5:45pm for three months starting August 19, 2016.

    The programme, to be hosted by ZBS’s Robert Kalua, will feature various AHCX managers who will provide information on the commodities market to farmers, traders and buyers, and answer questions through telephone from listeners.

    A comedy by a Lilongwe-based renowned outfit comic Shokoshoko will feature in the programme to help demystify some issues in the commodities market.

    It has come at a time the commodities market is at the peak of trading for pigeon peas while and while farmers are preparing their fields for the next growing season.

    AHCX Communications Manager, Thom Khanje, said the programme will help in disseminating information about the on-going trading of pigeon peas and provide advise that can help farmers make informed decisions about the next growing season.

    “As a major player on the Malawi commodities market, we have a responsibility to disseminate information about the commodities market to all players on the market. The introduction of the programme on ZBS is part of that responsibility,” said Khanje.

    He disclosed that another programme will soon be launched on MBC TV.
